Frequently asked questions
What happens when my free link expires?
The link still opens — but only shows basic information: name, location and a few details. All other details (education, occupation, family, horoscope) are hidden. A notice asks the visitor to request a new link from you. To restore full access, send a fresh link from your profile page.
Do I lose my view count when I send a new link?
No. Your total view count is preserved across all links. When you send a new link, a fresh counter starts for that link. You can see the history of all previous links and their individual counts in the Link History section.
Can I upgrade to permanent at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade even before generating a temporary link. Once upgraded, a permanent clean URL is immediately available — no temporary link needed.
What happens to my old link after I upgrade?
The old link is deactivated. Your profile is now accessible via your clean permanent URL (e.g. /groom/73686092/firstname-lastname). That URL never changes and never expires — anyone who has it can open it anytime.
Is the permanent link really permanent?
Yes. It is a one-time payment for a lifetime link tied to your profile. As long as your profile exists, the link will work.
Can two profiles have the same permanent URL?
No. The permanent URL is built from your unique PaperProfile ID (e.g. PP70775379), so it is always unique.
Does the permanent link work on Google Search?
The clean permanent URL is a well-formed, stable URL. However, your profile is private by design — it is not indexed by search engines. Only people with the link can view it.
